Why connect Amazon to the rest of your data
Amazon has its own fee structure, its own fulfilment options and its own way of reporting settlements. Read in isolation, Amazon performance is hard to compare with Trendyol, Hepsiburada, N11 or your own Shopify store, and hard to connect to the product cost in your ERP or the stock in your warehouse.
DataSync synchronizes Amazon into one model with those sources. Amazon sales, fees, returns and payouts are read through the same definitions, KPIs and thresholds as every other channel, so an Amazon decision is made on the same business reality as the rest.
How the Amazon connection works
- Authorise. You authorise DataSync with your Amazon seller account through SP-API.
- Map. Item codes, warehouses and channels are matched to your DataSync model. Presets exist for common platforms.
- Sync. Data arrives through real-time webhooks where the platform offers them and scheduled batches where it does not. Deltas reconcile nightly.
- Use. Amazon appears as a source in reports, rules and SYNC AI answers, with its own freshness indicator.
Before you connect
A connection is quicker when three things are ready: access to your Amazon seller account for the authorisation step, a clear list of the item codes your ERP uses for the same products, and an agreed view of which warehouses and channels should be treated separately. That is what the mapping step relies on.
DataSync assesses your sources before anything is built. Implementations fail on data nobody checked, not on software, so each dataset is reviewed for readiness first and the work is sequenced by what matters most to the business and by what is actually ready. SYNC configuration, where your organization structure, business rules, stock thresholds, KPIs and report formats are defined, begins after the required API connections are completed. A typical launch takes three weeks end to end.
Decisions that become possible once Amazon sits next to ERP, ads and stock
- Which Amazon products are profitable after fees and returns. Order Profitability reads each Amazon order after marketplace fees, shipping, returns, ad spend and ERP product cost.
- Whether the Amazon payout matches. Remittance ties each settlement back to orders, fees, returns and deductions, and shows what remains open.
- Whether a price change is safe on Amazon. SmartPricing checks a proposed price against your margin floor and stock cover before it goes live, taking Amazon's own cost structure into account.
- Whether a promotion pays. The Promotion Calculator shows what a discounted price leaves per unit and how much extra volume it needs.
- Which channel should carry a product. The same SKU is compared on Amazon and your other channels on equal terms.
Amazon alongside your other channels
For businesses that sell in Türkiye and through Amazon at the same time, the hard part is often not the Amazon data itself but reading it next to everything else. With every channel in one model, SYNC AI can answer questions such as which products earn more on Amazon than on Trendyol after fees and returns, with the answer scoped to the person asking.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Amazon integration live?
Yes. Amazon SP-API is listed as Live in the DataSync integrations directory.
How does DataSync connect to Amazon?
DataSync connects to Amazon through SP-API. You authorise DataSync with your seller account, item codes, warehouses and channels are mapped to your DataSync model, and data then syncs through webhooks where available and scheduled batches otherwise, with deltas reconciled nightly.
Can I compare Amazon profitability with Trendyol or Hepsiburada?
Yes. When the channels are connected, the same SKU is read on each one after its own fees, shipping and returns, using the same product cost and definitions.
Are the workflows included for Amazon?
Yes. Order Profitability, Promotion Calculator, Remittance and SmartPricing are add-ons included in every DataSync plan, and they work across every connected channel, including Amazon.
